Amanda Elizabeth Righetti, an American actor and producer. She is best known for playing CBS police procedural "The Mentalist"'s special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti is from Utah who had always wanted to perform. She started dancing at the age of four. The year 1995 saw her first appearance on large screens in the movie 'Love and Happiness. The actress made her debut on the smaller screen by appearing as a guest star in CBS"CSI Crime Scene Investigation'. Righetti began modeling at the age of fourteen. A few years later, she moved to Los Angeles and continued to perform small, but important roles until she got the chance to be cast in the role of Hailey Nichol in Fox's teen drama 'The O.C.'. Righetti was also seen in important roles in the 2009 movie Friday the 13th. Other important films to note are Captain America: The First Avenger and the soap of Fox North Shore'. Between 2008 and 2015 Righetti portrayed Grace Van Pelt, earning high praise from the critics who praised her performance. Righetti has recently played Madeline Kenner on USA Network's Sci-Fi series "Colony".
