Aisha jamila Hinds was born in the United States and is most well-known for her performance in The Shield. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting providing outstanding performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her notice.
